Darren Wang founded Owlting Group in 2010 and has led it as CEO since, taking the company public on NASDAQ under OWLS in October 2025. His focus is regulated cross-border payment infrastructure, built through OwlPay, where the aim is to connect fiat and digital assets inside a single regulated framework.

He has more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience across Silicon Valley and Taiwan, with a background in cryptography, and spent several years in the Silicon Valley technology industry before returning to Taiwan. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from National Taiwan University and an M.S.E.E. from Boston University, where he studied under Lev Levitin, co-creator of the Margolus-Levitin theorem, and completed the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School.
